FAQ:
Petition for NoLo-Friendly Search Filters on Discovery Platforms
1 / What is this petition about?
We’re asking major platforms like Google, Yelp, and OpenTable to add filters for non-alcoholic (NoLo) beverage programs. Consumers are drinking less, and they need better tools to find inclusive hospitality options. This petition helps make that request loud and clear.
2 / Why is this important?
Right now, guests can’t easily search for places offering mocktails, NA beer, or zero-proof cocktails. That means businesses investing in thoughtful NoLo programs aren’t being discovered, and guests are missing out. This change will help:
-
Normalize alcohol-free options
-
Make hospitality more inclusive
-
Drive traffic to forward-thinking venues
3 / Who is behind this petition?
Zero Proof Go, a hospitality industry advocacy and education platform. We’re working to create visibility, support, and strategy for restaurants and bars embracing NoLo programs.
4/ What categories are we suggesting to these platforms?
At this point, we are still working on some options for Google and other discovery platforms—and we would love your feedback. "Non-alcoholic beverages" is too broad, while "NoLo" might not be recognizable enough yet. We're encouraging the community to submit ideas, and we’ll use your suggestions to create a poll to determine the most effective terminology to submit to these platforms.

No! This is for everyone—flex drinkers, sober curious folks, designated drivers, pregnant people, wellness seekers, and anyone who just wants a better drink experience.
10 / How can I support financially?
